TEAM
& PILOT

Ben Barnett - Born in the United States, Ben grew up in Marlborough and knows the regions back country like the back of his hand.

Having trained as a commercial fixed wing pilot he quickly transitioned to focus on his passion for helicopters.

As an avid horseman Ben adds to his tourism draw card with his knowledge of the Lord of the Rings trilogy having starred in all 3 films as a Rider of Rohan with his favorite Polo Pony 'Target'.

With a passion for business and aviation, Ben started Windhawk Helicopters in 2005 with an R44 aircraft amidst seasonal contracts in the Western Australian Outback and Canadian Wilderness.

In 2008 he made the transition to the MD500E, AS355 multi engine and now AS350 B2 aircraft delivering the smartest and most versatile configuration to date.
